Great Horned Owlby *Fishknots

Traditional Art / Drawings / Animals

This was my first stab at using Prismacolor Art Markers. I used the markers to build the foundation colors and then I applied Prismacolor Pencils to the details. I used Canson Marker paper, but I will probably go back to using a heavy hot pressed watercolor paper only because it is a better choice for the colored pencils. That would translate into more detail, which if you have seen my other works, is what I absolutely love.

Wow, this is so beautiful

I use Prismacolor pencils myself (premier) but I don't know these art markers, what are they ?

They're made by Prismacolor as well and are double ended. One end is a fine tip while the other is a broad tip. You can see them on Prismacolor's site (Prismacolor.com).
